Donor Egg Bank

Better Science, Better Odds

For more than 30 years, CCRM’s world-class physicians and scientists have worked together to provide the highest level of fertility care. The Donor Egg Bank is essential in treating the most complicated fertility cases, particularly for women struggling with: premature ovarian failure, maternal aging, diminished ovarian reserve, poor egg quality.

THE CCRM ADVANTAGE

  • 92% Egg Thaw Rate
  • 80% Fertilization Rate
  • 77% Clinical Pregnancy Rate
  • 90% Cycles Resulting in Multiple Blastocysts Available/Frozen

* Outcomes based on 2017-2019 CCRM internal consolidated network data with >110 cycles.

The CCRM Donor Egg Bank offers many advantages, including:

HIGHLY SCREENED DONORS

CCRM donors go through extensive health, genetic and psychological screening by a dedicated team of medical professionals, including physicians and genetic counselors. It is a rigorous process and only the most qualified women who apply to be donors at CCRM are accepted.

BEST-IN-CLASS TECHNOLOGY

As our patient, you have access to CCRM’s proprietary laboratory technology and scientists who created blastocyst culture, a process that has significantly increased implantation rates. CCRM also offers the gold standard in egg vitrification, which is a rapid-freezing method for cryopreservation. Together, egg vitrification and blastocyst culture have led to higher pregnancy and birth rates.

GUARANTEE

CCRM guarantees you will receive at least one good-quality embryo with each lot. If fertilization of the initial lot of 8 eggs does not result in a “good quality embryo”, you will receive 4 additional frozen donor eggs at no cost. A “good quality embryo” is defined as an embryo that has developed to blastocyst and is viable for a transfer. The CCRM Donor Egg Bank Quality Guarantee applies only to the external appearance of an embryo and does not apply if an embryo undergoes comprehensive chromosome screening (“CCS”) or any other form of embryo testing.

COMPREHENSIVE CHROMOSOME SCREENING (CCS)

CCRM pioneered CCS technology. CCS tests embryos for abnormalities that result in implantation failure, miscarriage or abnormal pregnancy. By transferring chromosomally normal embryos, miscarriage rates are reduced and live births are increased.

LARGER EGG LOTS

To increase your chance for a healthy pregnancy, CCRM provides eight eggs in each lot. Most other egg banks offer seven or less.

GREATER DONOR SELECTION

Within CCRM’s network of clinics across the United States, CCRM offers you a wide selection of highly-vetted donors whose eggs are ready for immediate use.

WE HONOR OUR DONORS

The process to become an egg donor is not easy, but most say it is one of the most meaningful experiences of their lives. CCRM provides donors with the highest level of care. We share with them the results of their genetic and fertility health screenings, compensate them for their time and commitment, and ensure they understand how their gift is changing lives.

INTEGRITY OF CARE PROTECTED

We carefully manage your progress from the screening of your donor, to egg storage, to your IVF treatment, protecting the integrity of our process, the quality of your care and our exceptional ability to help you achieve your goal of having a baby.

THE DONOR SELECTION PROCESS

After selecting a donor, the transfer process can begin as early as four weeks.

Once you decide you want to use eggs from the CCRM Donor Egg Bank, we will provide you access to our online portal where you can select your donor who has already been carefully screened, her eggs retrieved and frozen. The eggs are ready to use immediately.

On the portal, you can review a donor’s medical history; the results of her genetic screenings; and learn about her family, education, hobbies, likes and dislikes. The portal also provides our donors’ photos.

When you have selected your donor, you will be asked to make a deposit of $2,500 to reserve the eggs you have chosen and begin your IVF process.
